Preserving classical and contemporary choral music

The Paris Choral Society (PCS) is a not-for-profit association dedicated to the presentation of classical and contemporary choral music in Paris. Under the baton of Zachary Ullery, Director of Music at the American Cathedral of Paris, PCS presents performances of the highest quality, blending choral masterpieces with lesser-known works that deserve to be performed more often. The PCS relies on different sources of income (membership fees, concert ticket sales) and, crucially, individual sponsorships and donations.

Benefits of sponsorship at a glance

Not only will sponsorship help continue the work of the PCS but there are a collection of benefits to individuals and organisations who help finance our work. For taxpayers in France, sponsorship and donation is supported by the French Government with generous tax deductions for costs over and above any received benefit-in-kind. In essence, 2/3 of any gift to the PCS can be eligible for tax relief.

What is the difference between sponsorship and donation?

Sponsorship combines both ticket purchase (VIP seating) and an element of donation. There are four levels of sponsorship to choose from which come with a variety of additional benefits:

• Adagio (€250-€499): name in program, 2 tickets for each of the 3 concerts of the Season + invitation to the PCS annual sponsor cocktail party
• Allegro (€500 +): name in program, 3 tickets for each of the 3 concerts of the Season + invitation to the PCS annual sponsor cocktail party

In order to sponsor PCS, please select the appropriate level in the menu on the right. If you would like to contribute more than the minimum, additional sums can be added at check-out.

Donations are simple gifts to the PCS for which no benefit-in-kind is received in return from the PCS. For taxpayers, such gifts are fully eligible for the 66% deduction afforded by the French tax system. Donors above 249€ will have their name in the program and an invitation to the PCS annual sponsor cocktail party.  For more information, please visit our Donate page here.
