Requiem (J. Rutter) / Stabat Mater (R. Burchard)

Description

For our second concert of the 2018-2019 Season, we invite you to share two choral works with us; one well-known, John Rutter’s Requiem and the world premiere of Richard Burchard’s Stabat Mater, which was written for the Paris Choral Society and the American Cathedral choir.

Richard Burchard was the composer in residence at the American Cathedral in 2017.

On March 29 and 30, come discover with us the musical intensity of faith and the heart, under the high stone arches of the American Cathedral in Paris.
